Mission

The UMF Art Gallery is dedicated to bringing contemporary art and artists to our campus and the regional community. In its focus on innovative and challenging new work, the gallery reinforces and expands the academic vision of the university in celebrating art as a powerful agent of community and cultural identity. The gallery develops compelling interdisciplinary educational opportunities for students and the community, and works with local schools to integrate art into their curricula. The UMF Art Gallery is a teaching gallery, offering its student workers professional experience in the arts; the gallery website is a lab for student interns in media and design.

Hours

Tuesday - Sunday, 12-4 p.m., or by appointment. The gallery is closed for university vacations.
